This weekend was one disaster after another, but it ended with a jog around the barrels with rescue Sophie, and she put every other horse on the grounds to shame. Totally worthwhile.

These first few months of racing are not only tough for both parts of this riding team (myself and Derby) as we get conditioned for racing and traveling, but this is also the time that we need the most support. As we grow in popularity and the story gets out there, sponsorship and race matches will starts coming in at a higher volume, but in the meantime, I'm depending on close friends and family for support AND to spread the word about Project Derby and all the horses at Isabel Acres.
